Our gala is a wonderful family event and treasure hunter’s dream!

There are so many stalls to visit including our huge yard sale which takes over our netball courts, a classroom full of clothing and another of linen, a special area for paintings/art/picture frames, half our hall full of books, plants and produce stalls, a  classroom full of electrical appliances, two classrooms full of toys, a room filled with ‘quality’ pieces and special nic nacks and two classrooms full of bric a brac items and much more!

There’ll be a Silent Auction and the Quick Fire Raffle wheel.

After all that treasure hunting you’ll be ready to sit down and enjoy our main stage entertainment which will have an array of talent from Matakana School as well as local artists. Sit awhile, enjoy the entertainment and feast on delights made specially by our very own Matakana School foodies - mussel fritters, gourmet burgers and sandwiches, waffles, fair food like sausage sizzle and bacon butties and lots more to feast on at the One Day Cafe or take a cake home from our cake stall.
